A Few Words About Me
My goal as a science writer is to succinctly communicate scientific ideas while maintaining factual integrity. With a background in the sciences, I value accuracy in science communication, and I like to provide my clients with deliverables that are concise and on time.
I received my PhD in the biological sciences from UC Davis, and I have spent over a decade in molecular biology and biochemistry research laboratories learning how to implement the scientific process. My passion for science writing solidified when I was in graduate school, where I noticed that many great scientific discoveries were not effectively communicated, even amongst scientists!
As a freelance, I primarily write for professional audiences. I have experience communicating science for the biotech industry, the pharmaceutical industry, academic research, and continuing medical education (CME) clients.
